The years of paying their dues paid off when Varukers signed a record deal. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller venues in which they started.

Varukers knew that their dream of making an actual life for themselves as musicians had come true when the band’s first fan club was started by Michelle Treadaway in 1983. Starting out in Phoenix with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand from California to New York in under a year.

Members of Varukers are expecting to bring in a new audience with this tour and the newest record. The band has just finished their most current release, but they are already planning their next move.

Often times, critics have praised Varukers for their ability to connect with the audience when they perform live. Atlanta music critic Paul Yeubanks has always mentioned group’s terrific drummer. Varukers’s new record has received tremendous reviews from all the critics, including Billy Menchen, who first saw the group sing in Detroit.
