UK Subs was offered a record contract after their single was heard on K89.9. The group members were glad to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. UK Subs’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going gold.
The newest record from UK Subs took four months to put together. The group has just finished their new record, and they are already thinking of their next move. UK Subs intends to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the group members to pursue other projects.
Often times critics will praise UK Subs for their ability to energize the crowd at live performances. Boston music critic Vito Gibson has always been pleased with group’s tremendous stage presence.
