School hood pals Chris Brown and Peter Charell keenly absorbed the heavy rock sound of the well known rock acts like, Soundgarden, KORN and Metallica during the mid-'90s. Both were music lovers and naturally thought to form a group together. Initial casual gigs in school were good enough to motivate them and eventually led Charell and Brown to form "Trapt." In 1997, they were joined by their fellow guitarist Simon Ormandy. The band recorded their own demo and landed some superb gigs in and around suburbs of the Southern part of California. Within a short span of time, the band was opening up for the likes of Dredg and Spike 1000 and Papa Roach. Then the band released their second album "Amalgamation" in 1998. It wasn't an easy task to practice regularly as; the band members were pursuing their studies. The band has already gained a reasonable fan base and their live performances were also well received by the audiences as they happily buy tickets to enjoy their fresh music.
