About The The Courteeners
After getting the record deal, The Courteeners were sure they would make it. The band continues to play large venues, but still enjoys performing in smaller clubs on occasion. The Courteeners was offered a record contract after performing at at Adult, a local club. The group group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them.
The Courteeners accepted that they had a real chance to become a headlining national act when Laura Bierlein started a fan club for the group in 1993. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Pittsburgh, the fan club quickly grew with band’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Susan Reiner.
The Courteeners's members hope to team up with other artists while they are on tour. The group is in the second leg of the promotional tour for their most current album. The Courteeners's new album is the band's tenth album.
