The group has by now recorded many versions of the songs by Nirvana, Aphex Twin, Blondie, Ornette Coleman, Pixies, Rush, Tears for Fears, Neil Young, David Bowie, Interpol and Black Sabbath. It has also played its first rock cover, Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit. Though the covers of its albums spread its reputation, this band comprises of less than 20% of its live repertoire. Its music focused on the rock and roll assault instead of the politeness of a jazz piano trio with the influences that ranged from Stravinsky to Ornette Coleman. Its repertoire blends a diverse and original material which is also highly provocative. It covers Nirvana and Aphex Twin. It earned reputation as one of the most forward-thinking musical groups.
