The Avett brothers is a band from Concord, North Carolina. The band comprises of brothers Scott and Seth Avett and their Bob Crawford. They first venture at forming a musical band of their own resulted in the creation of a band named “Nemo”. Soon the band “Nemo” got disbanded and from their began the journey of “The Avett Brothers”. The two brothers alongwith Bob Crawford –the bass guitarist experimented with combining the different genre of music like country, rock, pop and folk. They worked on their song writing skills and were successful in bringing out their debut album “Country Was” in the year 2002. “Live at the Double Door Inn” followed”. Their albums were well received by their fans. And by now they had a loyal fan following who appreciated their kind of music. The concerts of “The Avett Brothers” were big hits.
