Background:
Supernova is a famous band of singers and musicians. Norberto Barcala was the pioneering figure behind the formation of SUPERNOVA ROCK SINFONICO – the official name of the band. He started at the high school after completing mis musical degree, because the rock environment had good rock musicians. He blended rock and classical components for the music and started the venture.Norberto managed a symphonic musician Alejandro Kordon and then managed a guitar player, Eduardo Penney. Penney was a Norberto’s co-student at the music high school. And manged a bass player, Mariano Sanchez. Now Supernova had almost everything, classical component, rock component and the glue for them all.

About Supernova
Alex is the musical director and main composer, Norberto is the first arranger and secondary composer, followed by Mariano and Eduardo. Supernova played his debut concert after just one month practices in 27th September, 1991. They started equipping with new technology and newer elements to make it big. Finally, in the year 1997 they played live two concerts. They went on manging their own studio. Supernova's first CD- “Uno Punto Infinito” was released in 1998. Meanwhile Supernova rebuilt their team with new singers and started arranging live performance s. In the mean time, “Uno Punto Infinito” was selected CD of the year by the readers of a prog rock magazine in Argentina, and got very good critics all around the world. Despite many setbacks in between, the team Supernova crushed its way through. They kept on appending new elements and artists and so made their presence felt everywhere. They perform a minimum of 3 x 40 minute sets of music, and leave a little room for encores as well, which always seem to happen! Also, the guys always bring party CD’s to play in their breaks too.
Supernova finally made their inroad in to the mainstream music band.
