The members of Scrap Metal grew up together. The bassist wanted to start a group since he was in college. The drummer use to listen to CD constantly as a child. Scrap Metal began performing at the college bar Desert. The band was influenced by the British invasion.

accepted that they had made it as soon as Karen Colangelo started a fan club for the band in 1994. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Philadelphia, the fan club quickly grew with band’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Virginia Tettleton.
The group has just completed their new record, but they are already plotting the next move. Scrap Metal see this tour as a chance to expose another group of fans to their music.
