Even after getting the record deal Scrap Metal were not sure if they would make it in the end. The group no longer has any problem selling out a show.
accepted that they had made it as soon as Karen Colangelo started a fan club for the band in 1994. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Philadelphia, the fan club quickly grew with band’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Virginia Tettleton.
The group has just completed their new record, but they are already plotting the next move. Scrap Metal see this tour as a chance to expose another group of fans to their music.
Often times, critics praise Scrap Metal for their ability to energize the audience during live shows. A music critic from Shelbyville, Derrick Cotroneo, has always been pleased with group’s tremendous drummer.
