Don't worry concerned parents here comes the Ralph's world to sort out all the musical problems of your kids. This superb band is truly a messiah for parents; it has been trying hard to banish all sort of bad music for kids. Actually it’s an outfit of famous musician Ralph Covert, who loves to make music for the young ones. Ralph is also the major force behind the reasonably popular band "The Bad Examples" which was quite successful in the early '90s. Besides making music for kids, Ralph also performs at the famous SRO Rock 'n' Roll club shows in his own hometown of Chicago. Well, he really feels proud of whatever he does for the kids, and once he said, "When I went into this I said, 'I'm not going to make a kids' record. I wanted to make a great record kids will love.” He has been consistently earned nomination in the Grammy for his immense contribution is music for children.

His diligent efforts have really made him a one-man musical universe, which provides great family music. He has already issued six albums on the well known independent label Mini Fresh. His latest release is titled as "Green Gorilla, Monster & Me." His childhood was very conducive in the development of his musical skills; he started writing songs when he was just 8 years old. Well, like any other kid he never thought to create music for the kids when he was a kid himself. Once he said “I always had a vivid imagination," but "I grew up listening to the Beatles, like a million other kids. When I first started playing guitar in high school, my dad gave me money to go to the store and buy an instruction book."
Before hitting the mainstream music scene he was teaching a songwriting course at the reputed Old Town School of Folk Music, in Chicago. This is where he received an offer from the Mini Fresh label. He grabbed the opportunity and what followed is history. His well defined and soothing music really gave a healthy dose of music to the good music starved American families, something that the parents could share with their children. According to Ralph the musicians are "a bunch of big kids anyway," that is why he never feels any sort of difficulty to come with such a good material dedicated to kids. Many of his associates partners and professional friends contribute music to his albums and this great list of names includes harmonica player Corky Siegel from the Siegel-Schwall Blues Band, bassist Pickles Piekarski from Bad Examples, drummer Matt Walker from the Smashing Pumpkins and Steve Gerlach from Bad Examples. If you want to know this great artist better, then come and watch him performing live, but don't forget to grab your tickets from an on-line ticket vendor to avoid the sad unavailability of the tickets.
