The members of Rain's Coming were friends in grade school. The guitarist was heavily influenced by his uncle's love for music. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his high school teacher. Rain's Coming started singing at Anyplace, a local bar. The band used to sell their CDs out of their truck in the school parking lot.

got Z99.9 to start playing their single and had their friends call in to request the song. A record executive heard it one day and immediately signed the band. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller clubs in which they started.
