About The Ragbirds

After the single hit the airwaves and became incredibly popular, Ragbirds knew they’d made it big and were not willing to be just another one hit wonder. The band members were glad that all the college parties they had played had paid off.

Ragbirds realized that they were truly working musicians when the group’s first fan club was started in 1992 by Jen Jagodzinski. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Boston, the fan club quickly grew with band’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Jennifer Storjohann.

The group just finished their new album, and they are already thinking of their next move. Ragbirds's most current record is the group's first since the group members went to work on independent projects two years ago.

Often times critics will praise Ragbirds for their playfulness with the audience during live shows. Sam Lamango, a music critic from Pittsburgh, has always praised band’s immensely talented bassist. Ragbirds’s most current project is receiving tremendous reviews from Van Ernst, a music critic out of Raleigh, and Terry Okerblom, from Omaha.

Phoenix has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the band schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring.
