The members of Nothingmore met in grade school. The group harassed the local radio station to play their single. Nothingmore started performing at City, a local dive bar. The drummer discovered his love of music while listening to his brother's music collection.

The most current project from Nothingmore is a refinement of their original sound. The group is in the middle of the promotional tour for their latest record. After this last hectic year the members of Nothingmore will spend some time apart to recharge.
Generally critics will commend Nothingmore for their playfulness with the crowd at concerts. Nigel Baca, a music critic from Pittsburgh, has always mentioned band’s terrific skill on their instruments. Nothingmore were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their debut release convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play. The band continues to play large venues, but still enjoys performing in smaller clubs on occasion.
Nothingmore realized they made it in 1997, after the band's first fan club was started by Cynthia Phillippe. The group embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the group’s own website by Kimberly Bierlein and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.
