The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The bandplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning.
accepted that they had made it after Cynthia Oswalt started a fan club for the group in 2000. Starting out in Dallas with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand nation wide in under a year.
