The group just completed their new album, and they are thinking of what is next to come. Name Taken see this tour as a chance to expose a whole new group of fans to their music.
Name Taken met with a local DJ from Z93.5 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The band now headlines shows across the nation.
Name Taken realized that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a distinct possibility when Jess Thomalson started the first fan club for the band in 1985. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Dorothy Lambert created a website for the group and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.
Every time the band comes to Kansas City they are sure to stop at Hypocrite and play a show. Name Taken knows to play both the old and the new at their concerts.
