Michael Mittermeier will take a break after the tour, to allow the band members to recharge after a long year. The band just finished their most current album, but they are planning the next release already. Michael Mittermeier's newest release is the group's ninth record.

Michael Mittermeier were happy to get the record deal, but were not sure how far they would go. The release of their first single convinced them that they were right where they should be after their songs began to get lots of radio play. All the members quit their day jobs to focus on their music.

Michael Mittermeier accepted the fact that their dream of making a life as musicians had come true as soon as the group’s first fan club was started by Anna Pillar in 1976. The fan club grew from a few dozen to a few thousand after Angela Zadra created a website for the band and a national tour gave the band plenty of exposure.

Orlando has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the group schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring.
