Madelyn & Klik began playing together while they were in middle school. The bassist wanted to start a group since he was in middle school. Madelyn & Klik started playing at Translator, a college dive bar. The group was influenced by Jerry Lee Lewis.

After paying their dues and opening shows for years, Madelyn & Klik was signed to a record deal. The group is on the road all the time now promoting their album before large crowds.
Madelyn & Klik knew that they were real working musicians as soon as the band’s first fan club was started by Jennifer Baca in 1979. The group embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the band’s own website by Maria Gremillion and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.
Madelyn & Klik's new album is the group's first project since the band broke up ten years ago. The group just finished their latest record, and they are already plotting the next move. Madelyn & Klik's members see this tour as a chance to expose a whole new group of fans to their music.
Often times, critics have praised Madelyn & Klik for their ability to energize the audience at live shows.
