Lit's new release has taken the band in a new direction, with a heavier sound. The band is in the middle of the promotional tour for their new release. Lit are expecting to bring in a new group of fans with this tour and the latest record.
Lit’s first album did not do so well, but the second album was a hit, going platinum. The group is so popular they fan clubs in every city. Lit met with a local DJ from X101.1 and convinced him to play their single on air. The single immediately became a local hit and larger radio stations started playing the song. Eventually a record executive heard it and signed the group. The group played for little to no money at first and was just happy to be given a chance to be heard.
Lit finally knew they made it as soon as Virginia Fleetwood started a fan club for the group in 1991. The group embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the group’s own website by Sharon Smith and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.
The band has always had a good time in Albany so they make sure to play there every year, even if they are not promoting anything. Lit's performances always have the audience singing by the end of the concert. Ticket Specialists provides the tour schedule and seating charts to concerts, making Ticket Specialists the best single site to find your Lit tickets.
