Being an English stand-up comedian and actor, Lee Evans had made enough space in the heart of his fans who adore him for his art and for the lively soul he is. He received the desired fame in his own country in 1990s, where he was popular for his hot, sweaty and power packed stage performances. He used to mimic humorous voices enacting it physically and added his unique alternative comedy. Initially, he used Malcolm a dysfunctional character that was also supposed to have a Norman Wisdom style of slapstick comic act. In his performance he illustrated his vision for the unusual characters. One of the most humorous thing while he performs is his sweatiness, drenched in sweat he usually had to take an intermission and change his complete attire. He said its because he is “always as nervous as a nun awaiting her pregnancy test results". Also, his suits were for just one performance and the next time they had to be thrown away because of his sweating.
Lee Evans was born on 25 February 1964 in Avonmouth, Bristol, England. He completed his studies in The Billericay School, a secondary school in Billericay, Essex. He began following his father's footsteps after his two years at an art school and then not gaining any success being a boxer. His father was involved in the entertainment business and Lee Evans also got interested in it. He had been very enthusiastic about venturing in to new fields, during his teen age years he used to play the drums in a punk band described as “crap” at Rhyl.
This talented artist was opportune enough to get a chance to perform at a talent show being held in the United States. He won the contest as he was the only Englishmen on the bill. In the early four years of his career he was touring with working-men's clubs and then with an alternative circuit. He was awaiting the right break that came to him as a surprise at the Edinburgh Festival, in 1988.
With numerous talents to make people laugh out loud, Lee Evans is also perfect in acting and performing musical skits. He usually performs his skits at the end of every gig.
