About KT Tunstall
The introductory album of KT Tunstall came to the market in the later half of 2004. She has a variation of music from the soft folk songs to the pop hits. She was also a part of Red Light Stylus. The album KT Tunstall Extravaganza came to market in 2006. The Scottish group named Travis has Tunstall’s voice in their album The Boy With No Name. The third album of this lady Drastic Fantastic came to be heard for the first time in Scotland in 2007.
KT Tunstall is also popular for her live concerts where she mingles a close circuit piece with complete band music. She performed in 2005 in the Cardiff Union. She performed her last tour of 2005 at Hogmanay with the band of Scotland named Texas on Edinburgh’s Concert in the Gardens. The Giants Stadium of New Jersey saw her performance putting on gold leg coverings in 2007 on the program American leg of Live Earth. The same she also had a show Apple’s ‘The Beat Goes On’ disclosing their plans with iPods. Later she made another trip to Birmingham’s Carling Academy and on December the same year she took part in the Nobel Prize Concert with several other artists. In 2008 she performed at Australia on the concert So You Think You Can Dance Australia.
She received several awards in her singing career. She received the Best Track Q Music Award in 2005 for the track Black Horse and the Cherry Tree. She was nominated for the Best British Live Act, British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. The performance of Tunstall Suddenly I See made her receive the Best British Female Solo Artist which she desired to part with Kate Bush who was also nominated on theh same category. European Border Breakers Award was honored to her in the year 2006. The award of Ivor Novello Best Song Musically and Lyrically came to her in the same year. She was also honored as a nominee for Grammy in 2007 but the actual recipient of the award was Christina Aguilera.
KT Tunstall got surrounded in a controversy in 2005 for making a filthy statement but everything calmed down when she asked for forgiveness and stated she do not want to get into any civic dispute. She dated Luke Bullen who was the drummer of her band and are supposed to get married before 2008 ends.
