Kingdom began playing at Cushion, a college dive bar. One of the group's members used to listen to his mom's collection of records constantly as a child. Kingdom’s members were friends in grade school. The group used to sell their CDs out of their car at the local record store.

The most current release from Kingdom is the group's first album in six years. The band may have just finished their new record, but they are already thinking of their next move. Kingdom intends to take a break after this next tour, allowing the group members to rest after a long tour.
Kingdom’s first album did not sell well, but received critical acclaim. The second album was a hit and the band was saved from being released by the record company. Kingdom was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on X103.1.
