Kill Hannah which is presently working with Roadrunners Records is a rock band of Chicago formed in 1994 by the lyricist and vocalist Mat Devine. He named the band on the basis of the name of his previous girlfriend whom he met at Normal in Illinois State University when he was having his first session of Mat. He was the vocalist and guitarist of the band “In a jar UK” at that time. After quitting their relation Devine made label to put on the records of the band and the label had Kill Hannah written on them. The band started with Devine, drummer Garrett Hammond, Daniel Wenberg and James Connelly, bassist and joint lyricist Alen Morgenstern, guitarist and key boardist Isaac Bender. Presently the band line – up have changed to Mat Devine as singer and guitar player, guitarist and back vocalist Dan Wiese with Jonathan Radtke, bassist Greg Corner and drummer Elias Mallin.

About Kill Hannah
The introductory album of the band was For Never & Ever was taped toward the end of 2003 at on Atlantic Records. The album was produced by Sean Beavan and Tim Palmer made the music mix. They made their video recordings for the track “Unwanted” which came out in Internet in 2006. They had many tours from 2003 till 2007 with The Sounds, Chevelle. They have performed mainly in Metro in Chicago. The track Kennedy also got a good attention. In 2002 they got contracted with Atlantic Records when Steve Hutton was their manager. Until There’s Nothing Left of Us was their second album that came to the market.
They worked with the Roadrunner Records for this album and also wanted to make another release of the album for UK. Kerry Finetry of certain Distant Suns joined Kill Hannah as the chief guitar player. She jointly wrote songs of Kill Hannah band like the Nerve Gas, future #1, Trains Are So Loud and New Medicine. Other than performing for the band, the band members have also worked in different fields.
Mat Devine, Heaven Malone and Allen Morgenstern jointly formed the brand “Chicago Suicide Club” which was devoted to fashion, art and the events that were going around. Under musical section of this brand they had produced DJ programs, parties with Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars, Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns, Paul Barker formerly of Ministry, Peaches, Mira Aroyo and Reuben Wu of Ladytron and others. The disco named Dark Wave Disco was jointly formed by Bassist Greg Corner who is also a disk jockey. They organize a p-arty every month with personalities like Tommie Sunshine Steve Aoki, Classixx, Uffie, Carlos D. of Interpol, The sounds and many others. The disco party has got a media publicity in URB Magazine and Spin Magazine as one of America’s modern and spiciest party.
