Kamelot began singing at the local bar Mishap. The lead singer used to fall asleep with a recordplaying as a child. The bassist wanted to start a band since he was in high school. The members of Kamelot met in high school. The band used to sell their CDs out of their car at the local music store.

About Kamelot
Kamelot's most current album is the band's first since the group members went to work on independent projects ten years ago. The band recently finished their most current album, but they are plotting their next move already. Kamelot see this tour as a chance to expose a whole new group of fans to their music.
Even after getting the record deal Kamelot were not sure if they would make it in the end. The groupspent years before being signed as an opening act.
Kamelot knew that they could really have a career in music in 1984, when the band's first fan club was started by Jenna Ihnen. The club started out in Austin with a handful of members, but grew tremendously once their singles started getting national air time.
Every time the group comes to San Antonio they are sure to stop at Guy and play a show. Kamelot appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their latest record as well as the classics.
