Ka-pas De la Sierra’s first album failed to sell, but the second album saved them from obscurity. The band group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them.
Ka-pas De la Sierra accepted they had finally made it in 1991, after the band's first fan club was started by Deb Lewis. The fan club grew quickly from a few dozen members in a few cities to a few thousand all across the country.
The newest record from Ka-pas De la Sierra has been heavily influenced by singers of the '60s. The group just completed their new release, and they are already planning their next move. After this past busy year the members of Ka-pas De la Sierra will spend some time apart to pursue other projects.
