About Jackie Martling
Jackie Martling was born on February 14, 1948. Though he had performed in various shows and concerts, he will be ever remembered for his outstanding performance in “The Howard Stern Show” as “Jackie The Joke Man”. This was a radio program, which was broadcasted during mornings. Martling started his career in comedy industry by participating in “The Off Hour Rockers” which was a music and comedy trio. As he resolved to pursue his career as a solo performer, he snapped his relationship with this comedy group. In the early part of 1970s, Martling began to perform as a solo performer on the stage. Though he started as an amateur, later he gained maturity.
His fame began to spread like a fire and within a short span of time; Martling became a conspicuous figure in this specific arena. His presence of mind and his keen observation of contemporary society helped him to invigorate the atmosphere of a show. The decisive stage of his career came when he was offered to perform in the popular Howard's radio show. This gave him an opportunity to display his talent. This radio show reached the culmination point of success and it made Martling immensely popular among innumerable audiences.
His innate ability to find out materials for his jock from simple mundane life helped him to make a show worth of watching. Another popular show was “Jackie Puppet”.
