It took a few years, but eventually the city's residents embraced Jack's First Show The tour booked bigger acts and the attention the tour received increased exponentially. Soon hotel rooms in the city were being booked months in advance for the dates around Jack's First Show.
Now, Jack's First Show tickets do not last long, generally selling out months before the actual event. The festival is popular enough so that the organizers can just about any group to play. The organizers also respect the link to the community and are sure to ask several local bands to play the smaller stages. The organizers of Jack's First Show have publicly wondered if the event is getting too big and if the festival will soon start to be too expensive for the original fans.
The tour is once again the biggest of its kind this year. More bands than ever will be there with huge names and great up and coming groups.
