Idlewild South were unsure about their music careers with the release of their first recording, and were relieved after their music began climbing the charts ad getting lots of play on the radio. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller bars in which they started. Idlewild South was discovered while joking around, performing on the street one day. The band took any show they could get before they were signed.
