The members of Hiroshima met in middle school. One of the band's members found his love of music by listening to his father's record collection. Hiroshima started playing at the local bar Penitentiary. The band used to sell their tapes out of their truck at local shows.

After paying their dues and opening shows for years, Hiroshima was signed to a record deal. The group members were happy to have the opportunity to make an album and quit their day jobs that supported them while they worked hard at night to make their dreams happen. Hiroshima’s single climbed the charts quickly, giving them national exposure. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller bars in which they started.
Hiroshima hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever. The band has just finished their most current record, and they are already plotting the next move. Hiroshima's latest record has been heavily influenced by singers of the '50s.
