Hell On Earth’s members were friends in middle school. The bassist used to annoy his sister by playing his favorite music incessantly. The guitarist wanted to start a group since he was in high school. Hell On Earth started performing at Coward, a college bar. The band begged the local radio station to play their track.

Hell On Earth knew they had finally made it after Sharon Scheutz started the first fan club for the band in 1995. Starting out with just a few dozen members in Detroit, the fan club quickly grew with group’s national tour and the launching of the group’s website by Kathy Teisberg.
