Hard Rock Calling began playing at the local club Celebrity. The group used to practice at the bassist's garage. Hard Rock Calling’s members met in middle school. The bassist first found his love of music by listening to his dad's collection of records.

Hard Rock Calling’s first album did not sell well, but received critical acclaim. The second album was a hit and the band was saved from being released by the record company. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller clubs in which they began. Hard Rock Calling was discovered after their single was heard on Z103.1. The group group played festivals, parties, bars, really just about anywhere that would take them.
The group just completed their new project, and they are already planning their next move. Hard Rock Calling's new release has been heavily influenced by bands of the '70s.
