The members of Happy Ending grew up together. The guitarist first found his love of music by listening to his mom's music collection. Happy Ending started playing at the local dive bar Cafeteria. Buddy Holly heavily influenced the early work of the band.

The band has just finished their new album, but they are plotting their next move already. Happy Ending's new record has been heavily influenced by artists of the 1980s.
Often times, critics will commend Happy Ending for their playfulness with the crowd at concerts. Seth Mitchell, a music critic from Boston, has always been a fan of band’s great sound. Happy Ending’s most current project has received positive reviews from all the critics, including Nigel Mitchell from Springfield and Irwin Parquette from St. Louis.
Happy Ending’s first album failed to sell, but the second album saved them from obscurity. The band members were relieved once they were signed and quit their odd jobs that had supported them while they worked toward their dreams.
Happy Ending realized that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a distinct possibility in 1994, as soon as the group's first fan club was started by Shirley Boughton. The fan club may have just started out with a few members that followed the band when the played in small clubs, but it quickly grew to thousands after the group released its first album and started touring nationally.
