Halloween On Christmas began performing at the local club Anyplace. The drummer was encouraged to play by his sibling. The drummer was heavily influenced by his grandmother's love for music. Halloween On Christmas’s members met in high school. The band used to sell their CDs out of their car on the street.

Halloween On Christmas continued to work hard, scared they would just be another one hit wonder. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller clubs in which they began. submitted their single to Z94.9 and a DJ took a liking to it. The group members quit their other jobs to focus on their album.
Halloween On Christmas realized that they could really have a career in music in 1994, after Rebecca DeCambra started the group’s first fan club. The fan club started out small with just a handful of members, generally localized to the area around San Diego, but the creation the group’s website by Shirley Urich, along with the first real national marketing campaign, saw the membership to grow into the thousands.
The band just finished their new project, and they are thinking of what is to come next. The most current release from Halloween On Christmas took one month to put together.
Denver has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the group schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring. Halloween On Christmas's shows always have the audience singing by the end of the show.
