Habana Abierta's most current album took eleven months to record. The band may have just completed their new release, but they are already planning the next release. Habana Abierta plans to spend some time apart after the tour, allowing the band members to recharge.
Habana Abierta was discovered after single was played on B98.1. The group plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues which they began.
Habana Abierta accepted that they were truly working musicians when Debra Nassau started the first fan club for the band in 2000. The fan club received a huge boost after Mandy Dunn designed a website for the group. That coupled with the tour all across the country saw the fan club’s official membership reach numbers in the thousands.
