The band infamous for it's offensive lyrics and behavior-Guttermouth- an American punk rock band was formed in 1989 in Huntington Beach, California. Their lyrics are extremely explicit, on purpose offending, and meant to shock, though usually in a humorous and sarcastic manner. Their behavior on stage has landed the band in soup many a times. They were prohibited from performing in Canada for several years due to onstage nudity, and they had to leave the 2004 Warped Tour among dissipation over their political views, and attitudes towards other performers.

About Guttermouth
In their earlier embodiment Guttermouth played at a few shows, and parties in the La Habra area, but soon the band was disbanded as the members went their separate ways. After a year Davis, Adkins, and Nunn decided to start a band together using the old name Guttermouth. Bassist Clint Weinrich became a part of the band, and this lineup would remain unchanged over the next six years, and two albums.
Music of Adolescents, the Vandals, Social Distortion, Fear, the Descendents, Angry Samoans, Bad Religion and Black Flag shaped Guttermouth's music. Even though they were influenced by these bands, the Guttermouth developed their own style of fast punk tempos with humorously sarcastic, and abusive lyrics. Apart form it, while in concert the band behaved outrageously and offensively. Their show was famous for inebriated behavior, and plentiful spitting by both the band, and the audience. Their first 7" record was Puke followed by another 7", Balls. They finally released their first LP competently called Full Length LP. Full Length helped them increase their fan base, and they began to perform at shows all over southern California alongside other favorite punk rock bands.
Their second album Friendly People was released on Nitro Records, and the band followed the release with tours to promote their album. Their outrageous behavior on stage and otherwise continued, and many a times they found themselves in trouble. In 1996 there was a change in the band's line up. Clint Weinrich was substituted by "Stever" Rapp. Their third album Teri Yakimoto was true to the bands tradition albeit surprisingly a bit melodic.
In 2001 they released their album Covered With Ants, and while working on their next album in 2002 founding member James Nunn left the group. The band tried to deviate from their usual style in their album Gusto, it was released in 2002 and the album was greeted with mixed reaction. Their 2004 album Eat Your Face was released in their original style. In 2006 they released Shave the Planet their tenth album, and to the delight of their fans, the album had come packed with the band's brand of humorous punk rock
