After finding their name in the title of a children’s book, Good Charlotte began playing small venues. After a while they began to receive some notice and the group Lit invited them to tour with them. The band was added onto the tickets and soon after Good Charlotte was touring for Blink 182. The heavy touring schedule began to build awareness of the group and by 1999, the band signed on to Epic Records.

The following year Good Charlotte released a self-titled debut album and received little attention. The single “Little Things” created some buzz, but it was not until the second album, The Young and the Hopeless, was released in 2002 that Good Charlotte hit mainstream fame, allowing the group to be on tickets as the headlining act.

“Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”, “The Anthem”, and “Girls & Boys” were sensations on the radio as Good Charlotte began to become a household name. The band’s sophomore album, The Chronicle of Life and Death, was not as much of a commercial success, but it still sold enough records to earn a platinum certification and sell tickets world wide.

Good Morning Revival has already reached platinum certification and Good Charlotte has extensive touring scheduled to make concerts available to all their fans. Tickets are sure to be a draw in the summer of 2008.
