Frankie Valli

The lead vocalist of the band The Four Seasons Frankie Valli was born in 1934. He recorded multiple hits as the member of the band. He also had a successful solo career and made many songs that were hit in the charts. In 1951, he started pursuing music as his profession and was a part of the group Variety Trio. The band also gave him opportunity to sing on their concerts. After the band split up in 1952, he and Tommy DeVito joined the group of New Brunswick in New Jersey named The Strand. About Frankie Valli

Peter Paul of New York Record was impressed by their performance. They changed the name of their band to The Four Lovers. Bob Gaudio joined them in 1959. There were few more changes in the lineup and they titled the group in 1960 as The Four Seasons. Valli was the main vocalist of the band. The track Sherry was the first hit of the band Four Seasons in the year 1962. He also had Nick Massi, Charlie Calello and Joe Long who in his band. In the 1960s, he worked with Crewe and Gaudio for recording many of his successful solo tracks. He was the first to perform solo career being a band member at the same time.

Frankie Valli was famous for hitting the charts as a member of the band and also as a solo performer. The records he brought out in the market fetched lot of commercial success. He was first singer to tape The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine a composition made by Crewe and Gaudio. The note of the track was copied by the American band named The Walker Brothers which earned them great success. The track Can’t Take My Eyes Off You made him highly successful. It went to the second position in the charts and other singers too taped the track. The foremost solo album of Frankie Valli had compilation of his singles that were already released with some new tracks.

Frankie had a chain of hit recordings by the end of the 1960. The theme track of the movie Grease in 1978 was sung by him. He was also seen in many sequels of HBO playing the role of Rusty Millio. He also performed in one show of the Full House. He also had several television performances other than these. The year of his birth was a topic of argument till the launch of his formal website. Universal Record label was the sponsor of the website. The actual year of his birth was a mystery though some take it to be 1934. In 2006, John Lloyd Young won the Tony Award on the category of Best Leading Actor for portraying the role of Valli in the Musical Jersey. Valli in 1999 was introduced to the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Earlier in 1990, he was introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
