The members of Foals met in 1985. The drummer wanted to start a group since he was in college. The drummer discovered his love of music while listening to his mother's music collection. Foals started singing at the local club Attorney. The Animals heavily influenced the early work of the group.

Foals signed the record deal, but were not expecting the next step to be any easier. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather play in the smaller bars in which they began.
Foals's most current record took over a year to put together. The group recently finished their latest album, and they are already planning their next move. Foals are expecting to bring in a new audience with this tour and the new album.
