Fly to the Skywere tentative after releasing their debut album, but were more than relieved when they started hearing their music on the radio. The bandspent years before being signed as an opening act.
Fly to the Sky accepted they had finally made it as soon as the group’s first fan club was started by Kathleen Anderson in 1978. Initially the group only had a few fans from Pittsburgh in the club, but after playing all across the country the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.
The band may have just completed their most current project, but they are planning the next release already. Members of Fly to the Sky are expecting to bring in a new group of fans with this tour and the new project.
Generally critics will commend Fly to the Sky for their playfulness with the crowd when they perform live. Otis Ullmann, a music critic from Orlando, has always commented on group’s superb vocals.
