About Family Force Five
The new project from Family Force Five is a refinement of their tried-and-true sound. The group is in the middle of the promotional tour for their new release.
A member of Family Force Five started dating a girl whose dadwas a record executive. She passed the single on to them and the band signed a record deal soon after. The groupplayed anywhere that would have them in the beginning. Family Force Five were uneasy after releasing the debut release, but were happy when they heard their music on the radio for the first time. The group really enjoys performing and is playing almost nightly before fans.
Family Force Five accepted they had finally made it as soon as the band’s first fan club was started by Linda Phillippe in 1998. The fan club may have just started out with a few members that followed the band when the played in small clubs, but it quickly grew to thousands after the group released its first album and started touring nationally.
Family Force Five appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their latest project as well as the classics.
