About Facedown Fest

After the single hit the airwaves and blew up, Facedown Fest were still afraid they’d be a one hit wonder. Now the group is a huge draw wherever they go. After paying their dues and opening shows for years, Facedown Fest was signed to a record deal. The band's members all had odd jobs while they waited for their time to come.

Facedown Fest realized they had finally made it in 1977, after Breanda Casas started the band’s first fan club. The band embraced the small fan club and with the launching of the band’s own website by Pamela Phillippe and a well marketed national tour the club quickly grew to a few thousand.

The group just finished their most current project, and they are thinking of what is next to come. Facedown Fest will spend some time apart after the tour, to allow the group members to recharge after a long year.

Often times, critics will commend Facedown Fest for their playfulness with the audience at concerts. Dallas music critic Steven Isenhower has always pointed out band’s tremendous stage presence. Facedown Fest’s most current release has received positive praise from all the critics, including Ethan Nicodemus, who first saw the band play in Orlando.
