After paying their dues and opening shows for years, Eric Hutchinson was signed to a record deal. The group played for little to no money at first and was just happy to be given a chance to be heard.

Eric Hutchinson realized they had finally made it when Mandy Greczkowski started the first fan club for the band in 1991. Initially the group only had a few fans from Omaha in the club, but after playing from California to New York the fan club’s membership exploded to a few thousand.

Eric Hutchinson plans to take some time off after the tour, to allow the band members to pursue other projects. The group recently finished their new record, and they are already thinking of their next move. Eric Hutchinson's new album is the group's first project since the band broke up five years ago.
