Doomtree is a group that has its base in Minneapolis. The band members of the group bring together their knowledge of different music and produce some authentic and creative music. But band claims that it is punk that has made a good influence on their songs. All their lyrics have touches of deep reflection about life.

Doomtree regularly performs under the Minnesota hip-hop label Rhymesayers Entertainment. Doomtree Emcees on the other hand perform solo or together with another member of the group, whereby, each of the members provides different kinds of music.
There are two albums that are released by P.O.S. with the Rhymesayers record and Doomtree label. The first album released was called Ipecac Neat. It came under Rhymesayers in 2005.He has also went on a toured along with members of Doomtree of Sims and Turbo Nemesis. The tour was meant for promoting his latest album called Audition. It was released in 2006. He regularly performs with "Building Better Bombs" which is the punk rock group.
In2005, band member Sims released the first full length album, called Lights out Paris'. The album got 4.5 in 5 stars in URB Magazine. It also received 4 in 5 stars at okayplayer.com. The band is making different tours to promote their albums. These include Ruining My Life tour and the Vans Warped Tour. POS is about to release his latest album in this year.
Another band member called Dessa has brought out several False Hopes albums of Doomtree. He performs live with the violinist Jessy Greene. Jessy Greene Jessy Greene could be seen in P.O.S. audition too Dessa is a master poet of spoken word. She is expected to release her solo album very shortly.
Mictlan has brought out False Hopes albums called Deity for hire by Doomtree and also the popular album Deity for Re-hire. Mictlan is presently writing and also recording for the next album called Lazerbeak.
Cecil Otter has brought out the ever popular Hung Over-seas, which is a False Hopes Album of Doomtree. It was released in 2003. Cecil Otter reached the final in the national spoken word competition. He has also released an album called Cecil Otter's False Hopes. Later, he has brought out his next album called Rebel Yellow.
Paper Tiger has been working as the producer of Doomtree emcees for a long time. He could be seen spinning records for many of the band’s performances. He is also credited with designing the graphics of different flyers and visuals of the band’s album. Many of the songs of Doomtree emcees have been produced by M K Larada. Mr Larada is the resident artist of Doomtree.
Some more of tracks of Doomtree emcees have been released under lazerbeak. Lazerbeak plays the guitar for The Plastic Constellations, a band from Minneapolis. He is presently busy bringing out an album along with Mictlan.
Most of the numbers of Doomtree are spun by Turbo Nemesis at its different performances. Another producer for Doomtree is Emily Bloodmobile.
It is rare to find the complete members of Doomtree performing together. The group performed at the "Hip-Hop and Harmony" festival that was held at Harmony Park in 2006. Recently, they have brought in “Blowout”, which is the third annual at the First Avenue and was held on 14th December 2007.
