Camino Real talked to a DJ from B91.1 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Camino Real was signed. The band plays plenty of arenas, but would rather perform in the smaller venues in which they started.
Camino Real realized that they were real working musicians in 1979, as soon as Lisa Molitor started the band’s first fan club. The club started out in Las Vegas with a handful of members, but grew tremendously once their singles started getting national air time.
The latest album is 's first project since the band broke up three years ago. The group is in the start of the tour promoting for their newest record. Camino Real plans to take some time off after this next tour, allowing the group members to pursue individual projects.
