The group has just finished their most current project, and they are already planning their next move. After this past busy year the members of Calla will spend some time apart to work on individual projects.

Generally, critics will praise Calla for their ability to connect with the crowd during live performances. A music critic from Oklahoma City, Gary Emerson, has always pointed out band’s song's lyrics. Calla’s newest album has received incredible reviews from Dillon Scheutz, a music critic out of San Diego, and Vito Francoeur, from Phoenix.

Calla were sure that they would make it after signing the record deal. They had heard stories of others still failing, but were sure they would be one of those bands. The group now headlines shows across Britain. Calla was offered a record contract after performing at at Beach, local bar. The band's members all had weird jobs while they waited to be noticed.

The band loves playing in Ann Arbor because they played their first sold out show there. Calla appreciates that they are able to do what they love because of the fans, so they play the hits off their latest project as well as the classics.
