About Buckethead
He is acclaimed as one of the rare and hugely famous modern innovators of the guitar. His incredible guitar playing skills have made him tremendously popular all over the world. He was also rated by Guitar One as the eighth fastest shredder in the whole world. Buckethead's unique style of play is a reflects stark reminiscence of great artists like Adrian Belew, Yngwie Malmsteen, P-Funk's Eddie Hazel, Slayer's Kerry King, and avant-improv's hugely popular artist John Zorn's sizzling Scud-attack sax abuse.
He began his music journey as a part of the San Francisco-based electrifying metal-funk band Deli Creeps. This band was a huge regional hit but unluckily it couldn't carry their act forward. Well soon the band was disbanded and consequently Bucket head became an essential part of a slew of various bands like Cornbugs, Deli Creeps, Praxis, Buckethead, Cobra Strike, Primus and Guns N' Roses. Laswell has also included this music genius in many one-off recordings with the likes of Bootsy Collins, Hakim Bey, Jonas Hellborg, Anton Fier, and Bernie Worrell.
His popular sounds and guitar play have been duly featured in a few movie tracks. Notable among these are Street Fighter and Last Action Hero. In 1999, he released his next hugely anticipated album "Monsters and Robots" and also played with the sadly deformed band Guns N' Roses. Buckethead released his next album "Kaleidoscalp" in 2005.
