The members of Bubbapalooza were friends in college. The bassist wanted to start a band since he was in middle school. The guitarist was encouraged to play by his sister. Bubbapalooza began singing at the college bar Anyplace. The group was influenced by music of the '60s.

Bubbapalooza was discovered after their single was heard on a local music hour on Z100.9. The band's members all had odd jobs while they worked hard to be known. Now the group is a huge draw wherever they go.
Bubbapalooza realized that the possibility of living life as actual musicians was a distinct possibility when the group’s first fan club was started by Breanda Gasteyer in 1977. Starting out in Springfield with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand across the nation in under a year.
The band may have recently finished their most current project, but they are already planning their next move. Bubbapalooza's members hope to team up with other artists while on this tour.
Critics have generally praised Bubbapalooza for their playfulness with the audience at live shows. Dillon Gremillion, a music critic from Jacksonville, has always commended group’s terrific sound. Bubbapalooza’s latest release is the group’s best reviewed record yet.
The group has always had a good time in Albany so they make sure to play there every year, even if they are not promoting anything.
