Bring Me The Horizon’s members met in grade school. The group was influenced by Buddy Holly. Bring Me The Horizon began playing at the local bar Vocation. The bassist was influenced by his grandfather's love of music.

Bring Me The Horizon was discovered after single was played on B98.9. The group's members all had weird jobs while they waited to be noticed. Bring Me The Horizon signed the record deal, and fully expected that they would last past the first album. The group is enjoying its success, touring constantly.
Bring Me The Horizon finally realized they made it as soon as Amanda Weyland started a fan club for the group in 1986. Starting out in Raleigh with a few dozen members, the club grew fast, eclipsing a couple thousand country wide in under a year.
The band is in the start of the accompanying tour for their most current record. After this last non-stop year the members of Bring Me The Horizon will take some time off to work on individual projects.
Seattle has always been receptive to the band, even when they were small time, so the group schedules a show there every year, even if they are not touring.
