“Bowling For Soup” is a popular Punky power pop band. The band was formed in Wichita Falls, TX, in 1994. The band features lead guitarist/vocalist Jaret Reddick, bassist Erik Chandler, guitarist/vocalist Chris Burney, and drummer Gary Wiseman. Though the band members were together since 1994, but band really gelled together in 1997 for a heavy touring. This tour really helped them to broaden their fan base and finally earned them an opening spots among nationally known punk and ska bands. Next year, the band went on to record their maiden EP for not so popular local FFROE label. Soon they issued their debut EP, “Tell Me When to Whoa! Next year the band moved their based to Denton, TX.

It was a site of the label's headquarters. Later in 1998, the band went on to issued their full-length album, “Rock on Honorable Ones!!!” This album proved a huge success and went on to make them popular across the state. These developments led to a record deal with Jive/Silvertone. In 2000, the band issued their major-label debut with “Let's Do It for Johnny!” this was a great success enhanced their popularity. After this success band recorded some of the very best song from their popular indie records. Their lead single “The Bitch Song” and a cover of Bryan Adams' “Summer of 69.” After two years the band issued “Drunk Enough to dance.” Catch them performing live, just grab your tickets from an on-line ticket vendor to avoid rush for tickets.
