The BoDeans are a reasonably acclaimed rock n' roll band. It was originally formed in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1983 and the band members were Bob Griffin (bass), Sam Llanas (vocals & guitar), and Kurt Neumann (vocals & guitar). The band signed a contract with Reprise Records in 1985; with this association they went on to release their debut album, hugely famous "Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams" in 1986. In 1987, the band was voted as "Best New American Band" by the readers of a "Rolling Stone Magazine." The band members have consistently rotated through various famous musicians, including: Kenny Aronoff, keyboardists Michael Ramos, Nick Kitsos, Rafael Gayol, and most recently Kevin Leahy. Their hugely popular track "Closer to Free" was taken as the theme song to the popular TV series "Party of Five" in 1993. The band went through a bit slump in the late 1990s, between this Sam and Kurt released their solo albums. Sam issued Absinthe by associating with Milwaukee musicians Jim Eannelli and Guy Hoffman. The band finally returned and hit the music stores in 2004 with "Resolution."

About The BoDeans

It’s all started when school pals, Kurt Neumann and Sammy Llanas, played some formal gigs along with a very fine rhythm section of drummer Guy Hoffman and bassist Bob Griffin. Then the quartet signed to "Slash Records." Then the quartet issued their hugely acclaimed "Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams," in 1986; the title was taken from a line from the popular "Rolling Stones" song "Shattered".

Their next album "Outside Looking In" (1987) was produced by Jerry Harrison and Talking Head. The album did well but quarted reduced to trio as Hoffman left the band. Consequently, the album broke into the Top 100 best-sellers. The band released their third album "Home" in 1989, with a new line up adding Danny Gayol (drums) and Michael Ramos (keyboards). This new lineup stayed intact and then released “Black and White" in1991, followed by "Go Slow Down" in1993. In 1995, the band released a live double album "Joe Dirt Car" in 1995 and "Blend" in 1996.
Eight years later, the BoDeans made their Zoe debut with hugely anticipated "Resolution." The BoDeans are performing live, be there and experience the magic of music, but don't forget to collect your tickets from an on-line ticket vendor to avoid the unavailability of the tickets.
