About Anberlin

Anberlin is an alternative rock band from central Florida. The band was formed in 2002 and in this five year period, it has released three full-length albums and an EP. The Florida boys took the music world by storm with their creative work and powerful performances. The shows of Anberlin always move a bunch of tickets. The band mates decided to form Anberlin, after the break up of their earlier group known as SaGoh 24/7. The electrifying line-up for the band includes Stephen Christian as the lead singer, Joeseph Milligan and Christian McAlhaney on the guitars, Deon Rexroat on the bass guitar and Nathan Young as the drummer. All the members are experts in their respective fields. Guitarist Nathan Strayer, Jimmy Aceino and Joey Bruce along with drummer Jerad Griffin were former members of Anberlin.

The band's career got a new boost after they were signed by Tooth & Nail Records in 2002. The group became a popular name in the industry even before they come up with their debut album. During the initial days, Anberlin used to tour with other bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance and Story of the Year. The band even performed on G4's Attack of the Show on March 23, 2006

Their debut album, Blueprints for the Black Market, released on May 6, 2003 was quite successful. It sold over 60,000 copies. The singles from the album like "Readyfuels" and "Change the World," got a good response from their fans. Audiences liked the incessant choruses, shredding guitar lines and sheer pop-perfection that the album offered. Anberlin released their full length sophomore album, "Never Take Friendship Personal," in February 2005. The album repeated their success story and it was selected as one of Amazon.com's Top 100 Editor's Picks of 2005.

"Cities" is the third full-length album by the band, which was released on February 20, 2007. This album was also produced by Aaron Sprinkle, who produced their first two albums.
