Faced with the proposition of how to introduce five young talents into traditional concert careers, the 5 Browns' parents and manager Joel Diamond organized a show which enabled all five to participate and present their talent as a group. What made the 5 Browns novel was the instant and positive response to their performances from young people. Their debut RCA release, simply titled The 5 Browns, was a straightaway hit and was numbered in second place on Billboard's classical charts overall in 2005.
The group was guided by their manager Joel Diamond and their parents Keith and Lisa.
